Our 18 years on our 9.3 acre Greenbank (Queensland) Land for Wildlife property was a real education. So many incredible wildlife experiences, so many ‘wild’ friends made. Despite the long house build that we thought would never end, this was a very happy period in our lives. Living in nature is life affirming and life changing. Within a year my blood pressure had dropped ten points and never went back up again. The new term for this is the somewhat pretentious ‘forest bathing’, a practise I highly recommend! But for us … we’ll, we just called it ‘daily life’.
